Private Lessons

Good behavior starts here. Whether you need help with your new puppy, want your adult dog to listen better, or have a behavior problem that needs to stop, our behavior consultant can help.

Serving Central New Jersey

Private dog training lessons are available at your home, at our Franklin Park facility, or over Zoom. One hour consultations are scheduled at your convenience to teach you how to train your dog or puppy. You will learn one on one from a certified professional dog trainer (CPDT-KA) how to teach your dog basic commands, solve behavior problems, and create a healthy relationship.

Have a new puppy?

Private puppy training classes will help you get off to a great start together while quickly solving housetraining and puppy nipping problems. We use positive teaching methods as well as food and toys to make learning easy for puppies.

Looking for basic obedience?

Working one on one with a professional is the most efficient way to teach your dog to walk on leash without pulling, to come when you call him, and to listen reliably to sit, down, stay, and leave-it. Commands are taught using modern methods based on learning theory. Once you have covered the basic commands, you can join an Intermediate Obedience class.

Struggling with a behavior problem?

Private lessons are the most effective way to deal with dog behavior problems that only happen at home, such as darting out the front door, destructive chewing, barking out the window etc. Issues such as fears and phobias, are also best addressed in one on one lessons rather than in a group class.
